Plot

While watching a race at McKinley Speedway, Nick O'Bannon (Bobby Campo) has a premonition of a car crash which kills almost everyone. In a panic, Nick convinces his girlfriend Lori Milligan (Shantel VanSanten), and friends Hunt Wynorski (Nick Zano) and Janet Cunnigham (Haley Webb) to leave, with the quartet being followed by a handful of others who become angry with Nick after he pushes past them to escape. As everyone begins to argue outside, the catastrophe Nick had foreseen occurs. After a memorial service at McKinley Speedway, two of the spectators who followed Nick and his friends out of the stadium, died violently in freak accidents.

Hearing about spectators deaths on the news, Nick and Lori begin doing research, and learn about the disasters that occurred in the previous three films (the explosion of Flight 180, highway pile-up of Route 23, and roller coaster derailment in McKinley, Pennsylvania) and discover that the survivors (who were saved by premonitions) began dying in a series of improbable accidents shortly afterwards. Nick and Lori realize that they must race against time to save the survivors while trying to cheat Death once more.

Cast

Nick O' Bannon (Bobby Campo): The male lead in The Final Destination and he is the one with the premonitions. He has some heroic characteristics and is dating female lead, Lori Milligan. Nick causes a commotion in the seats causing his friends and other angry people to leave the stadium. He is slammed into a cafe wall by a truck, and he is the last to die out of the survivours of the McKinley Speedway. In the original premonition, he is pushed back by the explosion that kills Lori and George and impaled through the chest by a rod.

Lori Milligan (Shantel VanSanten): The female lead in The Final Destination and she is the first one who believes Nick. She is smart and the kindest of the characters, she is also dating Nick. She chooses to follow Nick out the stadium because she is worried about him. She is run over by a truck along with Nick and Janet, breaking her neck after being pinned between the truck and a support beam. She would have been crushed by an escalator conveyor belt if it was not for the intervention of Nick. She is the tenth to die. In the original premonition, she is caught in an explosion and burns to death. In the second premonition, she is crushed to death when she becomes caught in the mechanics of the escalator after leaving the mall cinema with Nick.

Janet Cunnigham (Haley Webb): Nick's, Lori's, and Hunt's friend, she used to date Hunt. Janet is one of the most emotionally fragile of the group and is always uptight and might have believed Nick and Lori about the premonitions, but she was too scared to want any part of it. She decided to leave the stadium because she was scared of a crash in the first place. She is run over by a truck along with Nick and Lori, crushed by it's front left tire. She is the ninth to die. In the original premonition, she and Hunt are killed simultaneously by a collapse. In the second premonition, she and Lori are watching a movie in the cinema at the mall when the screen explodes from a fire in a room under construction, blowing debris and nails into her face and neck. She dies in the explosion of the entire theatre that follows shortly after, having deciding not to leave with Nick and Lori.

George Lanter (Mykelti Williamson): A security guard at the stadium. Prior to the McKinley Speedway crash he lost his wife and daughter in a car accident because of driving under the influence. He is having trouble not drinking and is generally mild-tempered because he didn't even attempt to defend himself when racist insults are aimed at him. He follows Nick out the stadium to make sure a fight doesn't break out in the group. He is run over by a speeding ambulance. He is the eighth to die. In the original premonition, he is killed by the same explosion that kills Lori.

Jonathan Grove (Jackson Walker): A minor comic relief in the film. He wears a cowboy hat and has a southern accent. He has a sense of humor shown in the premonition as well. He doesn't follow Nick out of the stadium because he doesn't want to be involved in a fight, but he doesn't die because Nick never asked him to move to another seat. He ends up buried under the debris, but alive. When recovered and sent to a hospital, a small pool falls on him through the ceiling from the floor above, crushing him. Jonathan is the seventh to die. In the original premonition, a car is launched from the wreckage on the track and smashes him against a support pillar.

Hunt Wynorski (Nick Zano): A friend of Nick and Lori and previous boyfriend of Janet. He is somewhat insensitive and loves violence, and he follows Nick out the stadium to yell at him. His intestines are violently sucked out of his bottom down the drain in a pool and he is the sixth one to die. In the original premonition, he and Janet are killed simultaneously by a collapse.

Andy Kewzer (Andrew Fischella): Nadia Monroy's boyfriend and a mechanic. He is rude and mean to everyone except Nadia, but somewhat changes after witnessing her death. He followed Nick out of the stadium to fight with him. He is crushed into a fence by a flying CO2 canister, which dices his torso. He is the fifth one to die. In the original premonition, he loses his footing while trying to escape the stands and is impaled through the mouth by a broken bench.

Samantha Lane (Krista Allen): A wife and mother of two sons. She is kind of spoiled and wants things done her way, but she is also kind and caring towards her kids. Samantha followed her children out of the stadium, who had ran to watch the fight. A sharp stone flies right through her right eye when a lawnmower runs over it and propels it outwards. She is the fourth one to die. In the original premonition, she is trampled by the crowd and separated from her family, then crushed into the stairway by a projectile motor.

Carter Daniels (Justin Welborn): Husband of Cynthia Daniels, a racist, and member of the Ku Klux Klan. He is the meanest and rudest of all the characters and he blames George for his wife's death because George refused to let him back in the stadium after the crash, and makes many racist remarks towards him. He follows Nick out of the stadium to fight with him for spilling his beer on him. In planning to get back at George for "killing his wife" and trying to burn a cross on his lawn, he ends up burning to death while being dragged down the street by the hook of his tow truck. He is the third one to die. In the original premonition, he and Cynthia are bisected at the waist by exploding wreckage from the track.
Nadia Monroy (Stephanie Honore): Andy's girlfriend. She was spoiled by Andy and shallow and mean like him. She followed Nick out of the stadium because Andy was leaving the stadium. She is then killed right after when a tire from an exploding car lands on her. She is the second one to die. In the original premonition, she is liquified by a projectile tire, like in the premonition. Nadia is the first The Final Destination character to die the same way as designed.

Cynthia Daniels (Lara Grice): Carter's wife. It is unknown whether she was a racist as well, but she seemed to do whatever Carter says without question. She did not leave the stadium because Carter told her to stay. Therefore she was killed by being sliced in half by exploding debris. She was the first one to die.
