Bedtime Stories is a 2008 American family-fantasy-comedy film directed by Adam Shankman that stars Adam Sandler (his first appearance in a Disney film). Sandler's production company Happy Madison and Andrew Gunn's company Gunn Films have produced the film, and Walt Disney Pictures is distributing it.[1] It has been rated PG for some mild rude humor and mild language.

Plot
Skeeter Bronson (Adam Sandler), is a hotel handyman whose life is changed forever when the bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start to mysteriously come true. He attempts to take advantage of the phenomenon, incorporating his own aspirations into one outlandish tale after another, but it's the kids' unexpected contributions that turn Skeeter's life upside down.
- The first bedtime story causes gumballs to fall on to Skeeter, which is ironically just a truck that spilled its candy.
- The second story takes place in the west where a horse seller gives Skeeter a cherry red horse that is faster than any horse (the cherry red color is based on a ferrari). After riding away with his horse he comes across a young lady being heckled by townspeople. (Based on the daughter of the Nottingham hotel owner) Skeeter saves her and as his consolation she offers him money, instead of taking the money the kids suggest he take a kiss. As he goes in for the kiss, Patrick (the young boy) suddenly said for Skeeter to be kicked in the shins by an "angry dwarf". Back in real life, the parallels are Skeeter saves the daughter from paparazzi by splashing water over them. He then scares them away using his car's tailpipe's explosion. Before all of this, he meets someone who looks like the horse dealer in the story but as Skeeter is tricked, his wallet is stolen. Lastly, as Skeeter goes in to kiss the hotel owners daughter he also gets kicked in the shins by a little man.
- After the Fourth story, Skeeter goes to his boss's birthday party to present his idea of the new hotel. Where he got stung by a bee and he had to have a translator. So he then wins against a musical idea but gets fired when he puts out his boss's birthday cake with a fire extinguisher. Later he talks a property seller into closing down one property which is where a school is and Skeeter's sister is principal, and opening a another property behind a beach. Skeeter then uses a motorcycle to get to the school and stop the demolition. He also then marries Jill, a teacher and then builds a hotel with 2 people from the Nottingham hotels (one is the person that he was competing against and the other is a person who is like Skeeter´s enemy.)
